Day 1 — Chandigarh to Manali
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Chandigarh to Manali, covering approximately 310 km
through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in North India. The route follows the Beas River
valley, winding through lush green mountains, terraced farms, and charming hill towns.
Stop at Mandi, the gateway to the Kullu Valley, for lunch and enjoy the changing terrain as plains
give way to dramatic mountain scenery. Arrive in Manali by evening and settle into your hotel with
views of the snow-capped peaks.
Day 2 — Local Manali Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring Manali's most iconic attractions. Visit the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple, a
unique pagoda-style wooden temple set amidst a forest of towering cedars. Explore the charming Old
Manali with its bohemian cafes and scenic trails.
Stroll through the Tibetan Monastery, browse the bustling Mall Road for local handicrafts and
woolens, and visit the Vashisht Hot Water Springs for a rejuvenating experience. End the day with a
riverside walk along the Beas.
Day 3 — Solang Valley Adventure
Head to the spectacular Solang Valley, a paradise for adventure lovers just 14 km from Manali.
Depending on the season, enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing in winter, or paragliding,
zorbing, and rope courses in summer.
The valley offers stunning views of glaciers and snow-capped peaks. You can also visit the Atal
Tunnel and Sissu beyond it, or take a trip to the Rohtang Pass (weather permitting, at extra cost)
for an unforgettable high-altitude experience.
Day 4 — Manali to Chandigarh
After a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to the mountains and begin your return journey to Chandigarh.
The drive back offers one last chance to soak in the magnificent Himalayan views, with plenty of
photo stops along the way.
Enjoy the scenic Kullu Valley, cross the historic Pandoh Dam, and stop for a meal at one of the many
roadside dhabas famous for their Himachali cuisine. Arrive in Chandigarh by evening with a heart
full of mountain memories.
